Deputy President William Rut o has found himself in a thin bridge has he tries to cross a river infested with crocodiles which he has been feeding for the last nine years in his tenure as the Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya.
The worst enemy to the deputy president is his mouth. His utterances for the last few years have placed him on a hard rock barricading the entrance of the house on the hill.
Some of these utterances include war against graft, judiciary vs executive power battles and his utterances on day to day political unfolding in the country.
During 2013 general election, William Ruto allocated himself the position of the deputy president and told Uhuru and Mudavadi to agree in between them on who will be the Presidential candidate. At one point Uhuru Kenyatta stepped down for Mudavadi but later referred to Mudavadi as madimoni and declared his candidature. This scenario has left many Kenyans with questions on why Deputy President is blaming others for seeking positions yet he did so in 2013 and he has been doing so for the last four years.
After settling on the seat of the Deputy President, William Ruto could not tame his utterances and at one point during campaigns he was recorded saying that he will organize himself behind the President for him to get power and settle all the issues his tribe has against Kikuyus. In the meeting, the deputy president also said that there is no other tribe that has more issues with Kikuyus than his tribe.
William Ruto blaming the government of failure and at the same time taking credit of fully complete projects by the Jubilee governments. Such occurrences brand Ruto as person who cannot accept his misdoings but can only own things that will give him political mileage.
