Muchina Master, who is a banker turned media personality was sacked from Coro FM after he hosted the late gospel musician, Mercy Waciama, during his show. He had hosted the gospel musician a few days to her gospel music ministry celebrations, and she happened to advertise her event on air.
After the show, she took a one-week break and took her newly married wife to Mombasa for vacation. It was while on his way back to Kitengela that he received a call from Coro FM with the sad news of his contract termination.
After the termination, his wife was gifted with twins but one of the children died during delivery and the other one was admitted in hospital for two months at a time when he was struggling financially.
Years later, he bounced back and started hosting shows through his Facebook page. The shows that he hosted on his social platforms made him land several gigs from land-selling companies.
Through the proceeds that he was getting from eight land-selling companies, he bought two acres of land in Kitengela and opened his own company.
In 2023, he received a call from Njogu wa Njoroge who asked him if he had abandoned his radio career. Muchina informed Njogu wa Njoroge that it was an opportunity that had availed himself. The veteran Radio Presenter told Muchina to meet him in Bypass.
During the meeting, Njogu wa Njoroge who was in a hurry to leave, told Muchina to give him a good Drive-In show at Muoroto FM and that is how Muchina found himself back on radio.
Mucaina Masta now works for Muoroto radio formerly Iganjo fm which transitioned to Muoroto after it the then owner, Andrew Ngirici, sold it to an unnamed investor.
