Abel Mutua is a Kenyan content creator, producer, and screenwriter who is married to Judy Nyawira, the two have a daughter, Stephanie Nyawira.

Abel Mutua Early Life
At a tender age, his father abandoned him and his mother. The two had to downgrade from their residence as his mother tried to make ends meet.
Fortunately, his mother found the love of his life and Abel Mutua alias Mkurugenzi got a stepfather who raised him alongside his six other siblings.
After completing his secondary school education, Abel Mutua joined the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication to pursue a degree in Film Production and majored in Camera Works. He graduated in 2005 after intense studies that would later transform his life.
Career and Life Times of Mkurugenzi
Two years after completing his studies at the Kenya Institute of Mass Communication, he secured an internship at Royal Media Services where he was incorporated into the script writing team for Tahindi High and Mother-in-Law.
Later on, he left Citizen TV to join Protel Studios for Hapa Kule Production. He stepped down later to start his own company Phill It Production in partnership with his buddy Philip Karanja.
Phill It Production is the company that was behind the production of the Real Househelps of Kawangware and Sue & Jonnie. They also have several other movies and TV shows.
They however terminated their contract with Protel Studios after Protel Managers declined to credit Phillit Production for the Real House Helps of Kawangware. Philip Karanja and Abel Mutua exit also influenced Njugush’s exit.
Abel Mutua came to the public limelight during the COVID-19 pandemic when he started storytelling through his YouTube Channel. Since then, he has shared several seasons of Diaspora Stories, Headline Hitters, and Young & Stupid Stories boosting his public portfolio.
On family, Abel Mutua is married to Judy Nyawira and the two have a daughter named, Stephanie Mumbua alias Mumbus.
