Fresh Details emerge on the cruel murder of Jane Jerop Kangogo whose body was found dumped in Nairobi.
According to Court documents filed by the prime suspect, Jane Jerop Kangogo who was a student at Kenyatta University and a junior officer at National Training Authority and the suspect were business partners and she owed him 1 million.
Jesse Wafula Walukha also told the court through his attorney that Jane Jerop Kangogo was using him to hide his lifestyle to avoid being questioned by colleagues and being summoned by NITA over his lifestyle despite being a junior officer at the institution.
Through his attorney, Jose disputed claims that the two met for a coffee date the day Jerop Kangogo disappeared only to be found dead.
While urging the court to order police to release him and issue an anticipatory bill against his arrest, the Nairobi and Bungoma counties ICT business man told the court that he has nothing to hide and Jane Jerop Kangogo was using his company to apply for tenders at the organization she used to work at.
He also told the court that the salvaged car that he sold to Jane Jerop was still under his name because she way yet to clear the balance.
Wafula also revealed that his business partner was living large and with only a salary of Ksh 48,000, she was paying a rent of Ksh 30,000, paying her school fees at Kenyatta University and paying monthly instalments for the salvaged car that she bought from him.
