David Ndii spills the beans on Linda Katiba financiers, Martha Karua denies Ndii’s revelations.
President Ruto advisor on economic matters, David Ndii, has revealed that Linda Katiba, an organization that viciously fought BBI in courts was sponsored by Ruto who was then a Deputy President.
According to David Ndii, the organization was established by Martha Karua and him, and at the time of the formation, Martha Karua was Ruto’s running mate prospect.
“Time for revelations. Linda Katiba was formed by myself and Martha with Ruto support. Martha was then a prospect for Willliam Ruto running mate. Made full disclosure which is why Makau Mutua was attacking me. Even paid Boniface from Ruto’s campaign money. Hypocrites whole lot,” David Ndii tweeted.
Angered Martha Karua in her response noted that she was disappointed by Ndii’s lies and confessed that they only secured funding from a financier towards the end of the BBI case. She also disclosed that they were financing Linda Katiba activities from their own pockets and if at all David Ndii received any funding from William Ruto it was for his own use and not for Linda Katiba.
Martha Karua also added that towards the end, the now-President Ruto advisor on economic matters revealed to her that he had received funding from President Ruto for his BBI case which she was not part of.
“Towards the end, you did disclose to me that you had received financial support from William Ruto for your case against BBI. I was not a party to the said case and you were already in court when I joined Linda Katiba. You cannot drag me into your money deals then with William Ruto,” Martha Karua added.
