Rapper Nazizi quits Vybez Radio a few days after Kwamboka left for Radio Africa Group.

Nazizi Hirji joined the Standard Media Group Radio station in 2019 alongside Chiki Kuruka who also left the station a while back.

Chiki Kuruka is now the manager of Bien and also his wife.

Nazizi Hirji announced her departure on Tuesday as she recounted the good times at Standard Group owned radio station.

While announcing her departure, she thanked all fans who used to tune in to her reggae show dubbed Cease N Sekkle which she used to host alongside her cohost Muzikal Sheriff.

She also requested her fans to tune in to Vybez Radio to enjoy her last show at the station.

“Sadly, my journey at Vybez Radio has come to an end. Tune in tonight for the very last show with the HEADMASTER. The last 3 years have been such a blessing to me,” Nazizi said.

She also thanked Standard Media Group and Vybez Radio for giving her an opportunity to host the show and supporting cease and Sekkle.

The mass exits at the Mombasa Road based media group comes at time when the media company is being accused of delayed salaries. Speculations of layoffs are also high as the media company adjusts its operations to align with the threatening digital media.

Several other media houses in the country have also laid off tens of employees in a bid to cut off expenditures as they also strategize their operations to fit in the digital media era.

  1. I’m really enjoying the design and layout of your blog. It’s a very easy on the eyes which makes it much more pleasant for me to come here and visit more often. Did you hire out a developer to create your theme? Exceptional work!
