The case currently at the Chambers of ICC is not about 2007 but post 2007 after prosecution of the Ocampo six.

Prosecutor Bensouda noted that there was massive interference of witnesses which made him to have inadequate evidence in a case involving Terrorist Guarantor and Journalist Joshua Arap Sang. The judge handling the case vacated it with a condition of reopening it if fresh evidence is obtained.

After the case vacated, Bensouda started digging on why witnesses withdrew their evidence while others disappeared mysteriously only to be found dead days later.

Shockingly, she unearthed a scheme that was referred to as common plan that was meant to tamper with witnesses in the case involving the Terrorist Guarantor and Joshua Arap Sang.

The scheme was being led by Lawyer Paul Gicheru and Mr Simatwo who at the moment was the CEO of AMACO insuarance company among others who are being sought by the prosecution department.

A warrant of arrest was issued by ICC but Kenya High Court frustrated their extradition but it is said Gicheru faced several threats to his life living him with no alternative other than presenting himself at the ICC.

At the Court, Gicheru was passed through pretrial where the evidence was confirmed. An attempt to appeal confirmation of the charges was rejected and he will now be going to full trial.

If he is found guilty for Witness, Gicheru and those involved in the case will face wrath as per the Rome statute.
