Gatundu South Member of Parliament and Chama Cha Kazi Party Leader is set to undergo a complicated surgery referred to as Stem Cell Surgery.

This is after the vocal Mt Kenya politician suffered a third degree burn which resulted from an electrical mat he was using to cure numbness in his legs.

The mat had been gifted to him by a Muranga County Assembly MCA and had been procured from unlicensed vendor in Nairobi.

Recently Moses Kuria came out public and confessed that he had just undergone a 7th Surgery in an attempt to cure the third degree burns he suffered from.

The stem cell surgery which the Mp is set to go through involve obtaining a body cells which have the potential to proliferate and form new cells which are either additional stems or functional cells to perform various functions of the body.

The surgery is conducted in several phases were the patient is first tested of any underlying condition, harvesting of stem cells from him or a donor, preparation of the body to receive treatment, stem cells transplant and finally recovery.

While speaking to one of the local news outlet, Moses Kuria confirmed that he will one of the pioneers of the stem cell surgery since the procedure has not been practiced broadly across the world.

After going through the procedure successfully, Moses Kuria will stay in a hospital for a few weeks as the stem cells take effect and starts to replace the burnt cells on his legs.
