Ministry of Health revises Covid 19 guidelines due to surge in numbers of Covid 19 cases in some parts of the country.
1.Counties of Busia, Vihiga, Kisii, Nyamira, Kakamega, Kericho, Bonet, Bungoma, trans Nzoia, Kisumu, Siaya, Homa Bay and Migori have been declared as hotspot zones individually and collectively
2. Curfew within the hotspot zone to start at 7Pm and end at 4AM.
3.Non essential service providers movement is high discouraged between the hotspot zone and the rest of the country.
3.Cross border cargo to posses negative certificate issued not more than 48 hours before commencing the journey.
4.Weekly non food and livestock markets suspended for a period of 30 days in the hotspot zone.
5. Public gatherings and and in person meetings of whatever nature prohibited within the hotspot zone .
6.Funeral and interment ceremonies within the hotspot zone to be strictly conducted within 72 hours.
7. Night Vigils and overnight processions prior to funerals are prohibited within the hotspot zone.
8.Funeral attendees has been capped at 50 persons.
9. Physical worship centres within the hotspot zone suspended for 30 days
10. Public and private sector employees within the hotspot zone advised to work from.
11.All hospitals within the hotspot zone to limit the the number of visitors to one person daily for the hospit
