A medical officer has been arrested for blackmailing a middle aged woman for sex in exchange of negative HIV results which she needed in order to secure a job opportunity in middle east.
The woman is said to have been sent for HIV status test to one of the hospital by the agency which was exporting her for labor in Middle East.
She showed up at the hospital located along Lumumba Avenue on 6th Feb and she was told that she would be contacted when the results are out. On 14th Feb, she received a call from the medic telling her to go collect her results.
To her shock the results turned out positive, she disputed the results at another hospital and they came out negative.
The rogue medic started blackmailing her that if she wanted a HIV negative results, she would have to have sex with him.
The lady informed the agency that had recommended her to the hospital and together with the police, they conspired on a plan to nail down the rogue medical officer.
The plan was to have the victim agree to the rogue medic blackmail and have the police trail them.
The plan worked and the two met in a hotel room. As soon as they went in, sleuths who were trailing them swung into action and arrested him.
Police have hinted at charging him with attempted rape charges which can result to life imprisonment.
