'Taifa Care is working, ignore political detractors,' Waiguru urges Kenyans
Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru has defended the government’s Universal Health Coverage program, Taifa Care, urging Kenyans to disregard political detractors attempting to derail its rollout.
Speaking at an event for the launch and distribution of digital healthcare devices—attended by outgoing Medical Services PS Harry Kimtai and Presidential Economic Advisor Moses Kuria—Governor Waiguru encouraged citizens to register in large numbers to benefit from the initiative.
According to Governor Waiguru, Taifa Care is already transforming healthcare in Kenya.
