Eric Omondi Arrested,Taken to Industrial Area.

Eric Omondi arrested while distributing food to the less privileged at City Stadium along Jogoo Road.

Comedian and content creator Eric Omondi has been arrested by police officers as he distributed food to Kenyans at city stadium.

In a video which is in our possession, the controversial comedian was seen being forced into a white Toyota Fielder as he resisted arrest by the police officers.

Police officers also dispersed members of the public who were building up at the City Stadium using teargas.

His official facebook page was also updated that he has been arrested while at City Stadium distributing Unga to Kenyans and taken to Industrial Area.

“Eric Arrested at City Stadium while trying to distribute Unga, taken to Industrial Area Police Station.” The post read.

Eric Omondi had again been arrested a couple of days ago after blocking Parliament road in company of masculine men and inhibiting free flow of traffic.

He was protesting against the hiked cost of living in the country and sought an address from the National Assembly Speaker, Moses Masika Wetangula.

However, Police could hear none of it. They bungled the comedian into a police land cruiser as they also tear gassed people who had accompanied him.

Following the two incidents, Kenyans have been left wondering whether Eric Omondi is really pushing for reduction of the cost of living or he is just chasing clout.
