BAHATI LAUNCHES HIS FIRST ALBUM DUBBED “LOVE LIKE THIS”
As you all know, Bahati aka mtoto wa mama is a big brand in Kenya and beyond and has grown to be a household name ever since he joined secular music after being in the gospel industry for close to five years.
The album has ten songs with the first song being fikra za Bahati which has caused a rift between him and Ezekiel Mutua well known as the moral police which led to withdrawal of a sponsorship offered towards his album launch by Dr. Ezekiel after the release of the video where the music guru was seen smoking and that didn’t sit well with the moral police.
The launch took place in trade mark hotel on 15th of June 2021 and in attendance were big names in the Music and entertainment Industry such as Otile brown, Nadia Mukami, Mejja, Mr. Seed, Jfam, Mc. Jessy among others. Eric Omondi, the self-proclaimed president of Comedy Africa was also in attendance. He showered the Musician with money, two hundred thousand cash in compensation for the sponsorship withdrawal by Ezekiel Mutua stating that Bahati was just being creative and that he only did what he did to push the album in order to put food on the table having in mind that he is a family man and a father of four for that matter.
Several artists have been featured on the album among them is Nadia Mukami, Ryvanny from Wasafi, Lydia Jazmine from Uganda among others. It’s good to note that the album has only one gospel song.
From the photos and videos making rounds on social media you can tell that the event was a success. Everyone was well dressed, the theme of the event was all black with a touch of gold and red. Diana Marua, Bahati’s wife who is a well-known YouTube content creator and a great brain behind brand BAHA TI also attended to support her man in the company of her friends, PA and the managers.
