Njambi Njau narrates how she left her marriage six months after their wedding

Inooro TV news anchor and show host, Njambi Njau, speaks about the happenings that made her leave her marriage less than a year after their colorful marriage.

Njambi Njambi alias Caroline Njambi Njau is a mother of one and a last born in a family of four children.

She currently works in Royal Media Services at Inooro TV after getting a second chance at the TV Station. She had left the station in 2018 in pursuit of green pastures.

After Njambi completed her Secondary education, she wanted to be a journalist but her parents wanted her to study nursing. She however started to perform set book arts in secondary schools opening her way into the media industry.

While doing secondary school set book performances, she managed to convince her mother to support her in the line of the career she wanted to pursue. Her mother later convinced Njambi Njau father and with time she ventured into the media field sometimes in 2015 when Royal Media Services opened Inooro TV, a kikuyu radio station.

She rose through the ranks at Inooro TV to becoming a news anchor. While working as a news anchor at Inooro TV, she met her husband to be and after months of dating they did a colorful wedding only for them to separate months later.

At the time Njambi wa Njau was getting married, she had already left Royal Media Services for a lucrative deal at Mt Kenya TV owned by husband to former Kirinyaga County Women Rep Wangui Ngirici.

Njambi left Inooro TV for Mt Kenya after being promised a hefty pay by the Kirinyaga tycoon. What she did not know is that she would only receive payment for three months and work for 8 months without pay.

Before leaving Inooro TV in November 2018, Njambi got pregnant though she only knew of the pregnancy a few months later after joining Mt Kenya TV.

After the colorful wedding, Njambi gave birth to a bouncing baby boy in April 2019. It is at that time that her marriage woes begun. Her husband moved out of their matrimonial home and it would pain her meeting him on the streets yet he had left her.

In July 2019, she called it quits and moved out of her their matrimonial home too. At the time of leaving, she had already quitted her job at Mt Kenya TV. Her family however offered her a soft landing by paying rent, a house manager for her and all the house bills and expenses.

A couple of months later, she miraculously found her way back to Royal Media Services where she is currently working as a news anchor.
