Headless Infant’s Body Discovered in Embu

Headless Infant Body Found Dumped in a Plantation in Embu County.

Shock has engulfed Gacuku Village in Embu County after a headless body of an infant was found dumped in a beans in plantation.

A middle-aged woman discovered the headless body of the infant as she harvested her beans prompting her to call villagers.

Residents who responded to her distress call found a lifeless body of an infant with head missing in a bag.

One of the residents of responded to the distress call confessed that such an incident ad never occurred in their village. The eye witness also casted doubt on the head being eaten by game animals since the cuts had signs of being inflicted by a human being.

Embu East Sub County police commander, Mr Emmanuel Okanda hinted that investigations on the matter have been initiated and with time the culprit(s) will be brought to book.

“We have started the investigation of the incident and we are calling on the villagers to help us reveal the killer… This is a serious issue and we will not rest until the criminal is identified and brought to justice,” Said Mr Okanda.
