Two lover birds found dead in Kitengela in what is suspected to be murder case

The two aged 24 and 23 years were found dead in Kyangombe Estate, Amani Apartment where the twenty-three years old girl resided after two days of no activity in her house.

Neighbors confirmed that the man found lying on the couch dead was a frequent visitor to the ladies house and the two seemed to be in a love triangle.

The Amani apartments caretaker reported that on Tuesday evening he had some commotion in the house and one loud scream followed by silence to the time he reached out to the police for help.

After witnessing no movement the following day in the said house and the door being locked from the inside, the caretaker alerted Isinya police officers who arrived at the venue to respond to his distress call.

Detectives who arrived at the scene found the woman’s lifeless body lying motionless on the floor of the bathroom soaked in blood and with several stab wounds.

Her male friend body who is also suspected to be her lover due to his frequent visits was found lying on the living room dead with a stab wound in his chest. A knife which is suspected to have inflicted injuries to the two was found adjacent to his body.

The two bodies were taken to Shalom funeral home where postmortem will be carried out to find the cause of their death.

Isinya police station police boss said that they are doing everything possible to find out the cause of the death and motive of the killings.
