Prime Minister Raila Odinga has landed in London, United Kingdom, this morning for a three days official visit as the official leader of opposition.
The former Prime Minister is accompanied by Peter Kenneth, Charity Ngilu among other Azimio La Umoja diehards.
In the entourage, Raila Odinga is also accompanied by former Nation Media Digital Editor, Mac Otani and TNA Communication Director Pauline Njoroge.
Raila Odinga was received by the Ambassador of Kenya to United Kingdom Manoah Esipisu on Monday morning.
According to Raila communication team, he has no planned official engagement on Monday.
On Tuesday, Raila Odinga is expected to meet United Kingdom Minister of Armed Forces James Heappey at the Ministry of Defense in the morning and thereafter in the afternoon hold talks with United Kingdom Prime Minister’s trade envoy to Kenya Theo Clarke at Westminister.
On Wednesday, Raila Odinga with his delegation will meet Lord Tarif Ahmad who is the UK Minister for South Asia, North Africa, the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth. Later in the day, Raila Odinga will address Chatham House Think Tank. Raila is also expected to watch live Arsenal vs Liverpool game on Wednesday evening.
The former Prime Minister will be finalizing his visit to the United Kingdom on Thursday where he will meet the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Wellby and later in the afternoon meet Kenyans living in the United Kingdom.
Raila Odinga visit to the United Kingdom comes a few days after William Ruto ended his ten days visit to the United States and United Kingdom to come to Kenya to calm political fire.
