Over the weekend the deputy president William Ruto was in the coastal region to drum support for his newly conceived part United Democratic alliance. Among the groups that he addressed is a group of university students from Pwani University.
While addressing the students, he paused and asked for the university president commonly known as Kemei who is also from the Kalenjin community to give him two hundred thousand for students but was nowhere to be found.
Though many thought it was a coincidence, in politics coincidence is very rare. Pwani University President absence in the rally was planned for Ruto to fake his generosity.
Sources close to the Pwani University President have revealed to unreported ke that Kemei was ordered to stay away from the event for William Ruto donation not to be collected and Ruto would therefore, stay with his money.
This is not a surprise since there have been many allegations by churches and individuals in social media claiming the money that Ruto donates in churches is collected either partially or in whole immediately church harambee ends.
The behavior of faking church donations have disintegrated many churches leadership and caused rifts between congregants and clergy as congregants seek accountability for the fake donations.
