Former Meru County Governor and Agriculture Ministry Cabinet Secretary, Peter Munya, has endorsed Raila Odinga for presidency in the forthcoming general elections.
Peter Munya who seems to be Mt Kenya region favorite running mate has endorse Rt Raila Odinga in a series of meetings starting with the Mt Kenya Foundation Consultative Meeting, Azimio La Umoja National Convention at Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani and recently at Bomas of Kenya during Democratic Action Party of Kenya launch.
Speaking at Bomas, Peter Munya said that Kenyans should not be lied that other people own Mt Kenya region.
“The region is fully behind Rt Raila Odinga, don’t be lied that other people own the mountain”, Peter Munya said.
Munya seems to be on the right side of history and chances of him acting as Raila Odinga running mate are increasing each and every day.
The Agriculture docket which was assigned to him by President Uhuru Kenyatta seems to be also favoring him day in day out. As Agriculture Cabinet Secretary, Peter Munya has managed to introduced reforms in the coffee, tea and cotton sectors. These reforms which are benefiting to the people are benefiting the people of the region making people have a soft spot for him.
