Nine years old kid hands burnt by mother for stealing fifty shillings in Kayambo, Homa Bay County.
Shock has engulfed Lower Kayambo sub location in Homabay county after mother of a nine years old boy burnt his son hands’ for stealing fifty shillings.
Following the incident, Maren Odhul (Mother to the victim) hide his son in their house for one week.
Lower Kayambo chief, Mr Cyprian Obonyo, spoke to one of the local news outlets and narrated how he stormed Maren’s house and rescued the nine years’ boy.
According to Chief Cyprian Obonyo, Maren Odhul inflicted the burns to his son and hide him for a close to a week before he stormed the woman’s house and rescued Pablo Otieno and rushed him to hospital for immediate medical attention.
The nine years old Pablo Oteino was rushed to Ndhiwa Hospital where he received immediate medical attention by the chief.
The hospital’s administrator, Mr Nicodemus Odundo, told media that Pablo is stable and he is scheduled to undergo specialized treatment in another hospital in Homa Bay Town.
