Man who sealed his wife’s private parts with pepper, salt and super glue jailed for fifty years.
James Kifo hit the news headlines in 2020 after his wife accused him of sexually assaulting him by sealing her private parts with a mixture of pepper, salt and super glue.
Principal Magistrate Njoki Kihara of Chuka law courts found James Kifo Muriuku guilty of sexually assaulting his then wife and causing serious harm to her reproductive health.
James Muriuki Kifo was being accused of luring his wife to river Kathita in Marimanti where he instructed her to strip naked and confess the men she had committed adulterly with during his stay in Nairobi.
On being hesitant, James was accused of assaulting her wife physically before he applied pepper, salt and super glue in her genitalia and shoved the mixture inside using a knife.
After the incident, he ran away upon realizing that he was on the radar of detectives. He was however, arrested at Kaningo, Kitui county by a multi agency team comprising of DCI detectives from special crimes unit, DCI Tseikuru and DCI officers from Tharaka Sub county.
It is alleged that James Muriuki Kifo had travelled to Kitui County to seek services of a witch doctor after committing the grievous act to his then wife.
