Jeff Kuria is a TV Host and Radio Presenter at Royal Media Services where he has been working for quite some time hosting a morning show at Inooro TV, a Kikuyu radio station owned by Royal Media Service.
The prominent Kikuyu radio presenter Mr Jeff Kuria was born in 1986 and as of 2022, he is aged 36 years.
After completing his secondary school education, his parents wanted him to be a lawyer but his passion was in media. He came to Nairobi to stay with a relative and started making frequent visits to Kenya National Theatre where he made connections with directors of different plays and landed acting gigs at the theatre.
Later on, he joined college and pursued Diploma in Mass Communications and specialized in film studies.
Jeff started his media career in the year 2005 at Kenya National Theatre where he was acting and also at River Road where he was doing voice covers for gospel artists.
After trying to penetrate Kenya’s mainstream media with no success, Jeff Kuria left Kenya for Tanzania where he worked with East Africa Television as a voice-over artist and later on worked with Radio Salaam which was then based in Mombasa Kenya.
In the year 2007, Jeff Kuria was invited by the then head of Inooro Zulu Thiongo for auditions and he was employed as a voice-over artist for commercials, news reading and classifieds.
Kuria had been introduced to Zulu Thiongo by the late gospel artist Joseph Waweru popularly known as “Wamagegania” when he was doing voiceovers for gospel artists at River Road.
He has been working at the Royal Media Service from 2007 to date and he has built his media career over the years rising against all odds.
Apart from being a Radio and TV host, Jeff is an entrepreneur and owns an entertainment company known as Hafla entertainment. He also offers event management, MC, DJ services, and audio and visual services.
He also runs a youtube channel where he hosts Kikuyu artists, both secular and gospel, and also Kikuyu celebrities and public figures.
Jeff Kuria is not currently married. However, his marital status has been surrounded by controversies where at one point he was said to be in a relationship with a content creator and TV Host Shiks Kapienga.
Apart from being in the media industry, Jeff has branded himself as the helper of young people from the Mt Kenya region. He has run several campaigns against drugs and substance abuse. He has also hosted several football tournaments for young people from Mt Kenya.
