Middle aged Kirinyaga Man storms girlfriend’s place, enters through the roof and stabs her severally before being rescued by members of the public who heard the commotion.
A middle aged man from Gichugu, Kirinyaga County has passed on while receiving treatment at Kerugoya Teaching and Referral Hospital.
The man who is said to have had a love relationship with the lady he stabbed was rushed to the hospital after members of the public descended on him for stabbing his girlfriend severally.
One of the neighbors privy to the matter alleged that he had seen the deceased with two knives and when he asked him what he was doing with the knives, he said that he was going to kill someone.
Reportedly, the middle aged man stormed the lady’s rented house but upon knocking, the lady declined to open the door for him.
The jilted lover was however determined to enter his lovers house and he used TV aerial pillar to climb to the top and gained access through the roof.
Upon gaining entry through the roof, a confrontation ensued and the lady started called for help. It is alleged that the man stabbed the woman severally when she called for help before neighbors gained access to the house through the window and saved the lady from the lover’s lbrutality.
Angered neighbors almost clobbered the man to death but he was rescued by police officers who arrived at the scene and rushed the two to Kerugoya Teaching and Referral Hospital.
The man however, succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment at the referral hospital on Sunday 8th morning. His partner is still admitted at the County Hospital but recent reports from the hospital indicate that she is still unconscious.
