Eric Gitonga aged 25 years is said to have been stabbed by his girlfriend aged 19 years after a bitter exchange between the two.
The incident unfolded in the girlfriend rural home where she lives with her grandmother when Eric visited her but he was accused of infidelity by the girlfriend.
The bitter exchange of words was followed by what many did not anticipate for. The 19 years old girlfriend took a knife and stabbed Eric severally on the chest before she took off.
Locals found the body in a pool of blood and contacted the area chief Mr Justin Wanjohi who alerted the police.
Upon arrival, police officers processed the scene of crime and took the body to Kerugoya referral Hospital Mortuary and begun man hunt of the culprit.
