Lamu Senator in trouble again after shooting unidentified woman on the leg just above the ankle.
The wowam is said to be receiving treatment at Nanyuki Teaching and Referral Hospital and she is in a stable condition.
Anwar Loitiptip is allegedly said to have shot the woman after a fight ensued between the two at KANU Grounds Nanyuki, Laikipia County.
When we sought audience from the senator, he said that he shot in the air to scare and disperse people who were attacking him while the classy KANU Grounds Laikipia.
For the past couple of years, the senator has been at the midst of controversies involving women.
Her Ex Wife who happened to be former Nairobi County Governor, Mike Sonko, daughter; called him out for being violent and a narcist.
The Ex wife divorced Anwar Loitiptip and few weeks later the embattled Lamu senator moved in with Saumu best friend famously known as Aedaah Bambi.
Mid 2019, the Jubilee Party Senator was attacked by unknown men at Memphis Lodge near Safari Park in Kasarani and sustained deep head injuries and head to be admitted at Agakhan University Hospital.
Though many theories erupted about the attack, it is alleged that the senator engaged in a confrontation with other revellers who were watching UEFA champion league at the club. The confrontation led to a fight which saw the senator sustain deep head cuts.
The senator is also being accused of physically assaulting his rival Francis Mugo on 19th of October 2021 after Deputy President William Samoei Ruto boarded his plane at Manda Airport Jetty. This is after Ruto concluded his one week coast region tour.
Francis Mugo accused Anwar Loitiptip of attempting to throw him to the indian ocean an attempt which was thwarted by those who were around, snatching his phone, breaking his glasses, injuring his right hand and left eye.
