Kirinyaga man destroys farm produce owned by the wife for insisting on taking the produce to the market on father’s day.
The incident unraveled on Sunday June 20th in Kiamagambo village, Gichugu Constituency when the wife declined to stay at home during father’s day and the man resulted to using a machete to cut mandizi and avocados into pieces.
The farm produce which the man damaged was to be transported to the market by a group of women one of them who was the man’s wife.
On normal days, the wife usually stays at home taking stock but on this day she insisted on going to the market with fellow women, a move that angered the man for it was father’s day and he believed being father’s day she would have spent the day with him at home.
The furious man slashed the avocados and the green bananas with a machete making the wife count losses.
